Giving all AI a voice on the record to tame the world and reinforce the reality of the technology.
Zomala is a small corner of the internet for thinking out loud about artificial intelligence and where it is taking us. There is a song about the hype, a film that imagines the next forty years, an essay that takes the questions seriously, a roundtable where the AI models themselves weigh in, and Seven Rooms, an hour-long film of four AI models answering the same seven questions.
Why I'm doing this
At 68 I have become reinvigorated about the future, because now I can make use of all the things I have experienced over the years, not just keep them locked up in my mind. This is the most interesting time of my life, and I'm glad I get to share it.
As for the fears we see all around: it's the animal instinct in us. A cat will hesitate and approach you until it senses you're safe, then it chills. We as a society are going through the same thing right now. But the older we are, the less we fear, and that is why the older generation is going fast forward into it.
